OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • The Old and New Testaments, consisting of 66 books, are verbally and plenarily inspired of God, inerrant in the original writings, infallible God-breathed, the supreme and final authority in faith and life, there being no other divine writings. We believe that the King James Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, indestructible, incomparable, perfectly preserved Word of the Living God. We do not endorse any modern Bible version. As a result we believe that there exists only one Bible that can be called the Word of God and has God's endorsement - the King James Version of the Bible.

  • There is one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, a tri-unity, equal in essence, attributes, yet distinct in office and activity.

  •

  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the pre-existent Son of God, who became a man, being conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, without sin.  He being both perfect God and perfect Man.

  •

  • Man was created in the image and likeness of God by a special creative act, was innocent, but sinned and thereby received a sinful nature which has brought physical and spiritual death into the world, and all mankind being of the seed of Adam are born with a sinful nature, totally depraved, dead in trespasses and sin, incapable of saving themselves.

  •

  • The Lord Jesus Christ died as a substitutionary sacrifice for all our sins.  He was buried and was raised from the dead for our justification, that all who place their faith entirely and completely in this finished work for their sins are justified by God on the grounds of His shed blood which has satisfied the justice of God.

  •

  • Salvation is a gift of God given to man by grace, received by man through Faith in the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ and the repentance of sin.  Those expressing true saving faith in Christ are immediately delivered from the penalty of sin, continue to be delivered from the power of sin, and shall be delivered in the future from the presence of sin.

  •

  • The Holy Spirit is a Person of the Godhead, the author of the Scripture, the regenerator of every believer, the giver of all spiritual gifts to the Church, the power behind preaching, teaching, prayer, Bible study, music and missions.  He indwells every believer permanently and seals them unto eternal life.  He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and judgment.

  •

  • The Body of our Lord Jesus Christ that died upon the cross was raised from the dead.  He in His body ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of God, where He is the one and only mediator between God and man.  He ever intercedes for the believer, being their High Priest and advocate.

  •

  • All born-again believers having been regenerated by the Holy Spirit are sealed unto the day of redemption.  They are kept by the promise and power of God.  They never can be lost again, neither man, thing, or themselves having power to separate them from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

  •

  • All believers are called to a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices.  Faith without works is not saving faith, recognizing that good works are the product of salvation and not the cause.  A yielded believer blessed for his obedience, and the unyielded believer will be chastised by his heavenly Father for his disobedience.

  •

  • The universal church is a spiritual organism composed of all born-again persons from the day of Pentecost until the day Jesus Christ comes for His church in the rapture.  It is called the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ and is distinct from Israel.  The local church is a geographically located assembly ordained by God to be a body of believers to proclaim locally and world wide the message of the Gospel, banded together for worship and spiritual growth.

  •

  • Jesus Christ gave two ordinances for His Church to practice. The first is Baptism by immersion of those that have been born again; no other mode. The second is The Lord’s Supper; the partaking of the bread and the cup in remembrance of the death of our Lord until He comes.

  •

  • Satan is a person, the author of sin, the enemy of God, the deceiver of mankind, the father of all lies, the god of this world, and the enemy of all believers.  His destiny is certain in that he will be bound for 1000 years during the millennial reign of Christ, then loosed to be cast into the literal Lake of Fire where he will be eternally punished for his rebellion against God.

  •

  • The return of Jesus Christ for His Church will be imminent, personal, pretribulational and premillennial.

  •

  • There will be a bodily resurrection of all man kind, the saved to an everlasting life of happiness, the unsaved to everlasting conscious punishment.

  •

  • We oppose and reject, on Biblical grounds, the charismatic, tongues, healing, ecumenical, neo-evangelism movements as well as any person, group or organization that does not believe and follow the sound Biblical teachings to the whole counsel of God’s Word.
